Ben Mallon - Creative Director

The world of creative design offers endless possibilities so I am always looking for the next evolutionary step in graphic design.

Having worked in education, creative design and club industries, I have had years of valuable experience working on customer campaigns and internal communications. In that time I’ve developed a keen commercial acumen and an ability to deliver work to a high professional standard which is on brief and to client satisfaction.

Each new brief presents a welcome challenge and I enjoy nothing more than producing innovative campaigns that combine creative visuals, animated media, witty typography and interior design.

I often take a ‘hands on’ approach in the design process, working closely with numerous printers and manufacturers in the creative industry to oversee jobs in their entirety, from concept to delivery and installation. Nothing ever phases me!

Our Creative Muse

A creative muse is anything that inspires your imagination toward creativity: people, music, movies, books, ideas, creative works produced by someone else, or even animals. A muse can come in a variety of ways.*

Majestically always in motion the Moon Jellyfish is the perfect muse for our creativity. We are lucky to have five of these wonderful creatures in our Studio.

Moon Jellyfish consist of 95% water and have no brain, blood or heart, yet is always on the move with determination and purpose as they propel themselves around their environment with minimal effort.

Because of their translucent nature, the Moon Jellyfish can reflect and take on characteristics of their surroundings, such as coloured light and shape from currents generated within their aquarium.

In a similar way every creative task can be seen to reflect characteristics from the surrounding world of graphic communication.
